G*Star Music was founded in 2018...by accident. I've been teaching private lessons since 2011 when I graduated from MGSA, Rutgers University, but always for other studios. I hold a B.M in Music Education as well as a NJ Teaching Certification and have taught piano and woodwind instruments to students of all ages and all levels. In June of 2018, I made the heartbreaking decision to take a step back from teaching and quit all my studio jobs because I was feeling so burnt out.  Turns out I was just kidding myself and couldn't run too far away from what I was meant to do, because by September 2018 I was back to teaching, but this time under my own name and terms. My goal as an instructor is to always produce independent musicians and to prove that yes, with the right guidance and a sprinkle of patience, ANYONE can learn how to make music.
